Leo Aylen was born in South Africa in 1935, and is a author, actor, director, screenwriter, and poet. In 2001, he was awarded a Royal Literary Fund Fellowship, and was Writer in Residence at The Byam Shaw School of Art and then at University of Bath in 2002.
