A very short entry made in the magazine on 28th October 1961, it mentioned that Lieutenant Colonel the Lord Nugent (Permanent Lord in Waiting) called upon the president of the Republic of Senegal and Madame Senghor at the Carlton Tower, Cadogan Place, on behalf of Her Majesty, the Queen, and later took leave f their Excellencies.
