The drama side of the Commonwealth Arts Festival certainly gets off to a rumbustious start with this play by the young Nigerian writer, Wole Soyinka. Rambling and discursive though it is, it exercises a weird fascination. Set in a tumbledown drivers' haven in Nigerian, it shows the dominance of the road over the inhabitants. It can either provide them with a precarious livelihood or confront them with gruesome death...
