Thierry Sinda is a French poet of Congolose origin. He is the author of several French-language books of poetry, including Anthologie des Poèmes d'Amour des Afriques et d'Ailleurs (Anthology of love poems from Africa and elsewhere) and Chant du Black Paname. In addition to his literary pursuits, he serves as a film critic for Amina Magazine and a university professor. For the last decade, he has been developing a movement of Black writers called Néonégritude, a revival of the Negritude movement of the 1930s. He also leads Le Printemps des Poètes d'Afrique et d'Ailleurs, a festival that brings together Black poets to showcase African culture.
