Dr Kristina Rungano Masuwa-Morgan was born in 1963 in Harare, Zimbabwe. She is most well known for her collection A Storm is Brewing, which explores war, womanhood, and the potential of love. She attended Catholic boarding schools near her hometown, and studied management and computer science in the United Kingdom. She holds a doctorate in business information technology systems, and has maintained a lifelong career in the computing industry in both Zimbabwe and the UK. She is currently the Director of Learning and Teaching for Engineering and Science at the University of Greenwich.
