Ekpe Inyang was born in 1963 in Korup, Cameroon. A critically-acclaimed poet and playwright, his published books include The Hill Barbers, Professor Adoniah, Beware, The Sacred Forest, The Swamps, The Game, Water Na Life, The Last Hope, Silent Voices, Death of Hardship, Eni and Other Poems, Dangerous Pastime, Just a Bend, Tastes of Nature. He has worked in different capacities, with the World Wide Fund for Nature, Wildlife Conservation Society, and Pan African Institute for DevelopmentâWest Africa (PAID-WA) in Cameroon.
