Ina Rousseau was a South African poet who authored six volumes of poetry. In 1995, she was awarded the Hertzog Prize, the major award for Afrikaans poetry. J.M. Coetzee translated her poem "Eden," published in 1954, into English and analyzed it for the April 2007 edition of Poetry magazine.
